The rooms were comfortable and the food, by Slovakian standards, was of a high quality. The location is perfect for hiking, with picturesque views from the wellness room. I highly recommend this hotel.

During my Christmas stay in this hotel, I was amazed by the key location in the stunning High Tatras. The hotel offers a shuttle service that made it easy to go from the parking place in the valley and start my hiking directly from there. I was pleased with the breathtaking view of the mountain lake and waterfall from the wellness center with a hot tub. The buffet breakfast was rich and varied, and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Although I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, the only downside was the price of the food in the on-site restaurant, which was quite high. I had better value for money in a nearby local restaurant.

Located in the heart of the mountains with fantastic views of the surroundings, this hotel offers a comfortable stay with delicious food. The shuttle service provided from the parking area makes access easier and the wellness center is relaxing with an amazing view from the large window. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean and spacious.

It was possible to get regular espresso from the lobby bar.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in the deep inside of High Tatra national park. The views from the hilltop are breathtaking, with the most protected area of the Hight Tatras right at your doorstep. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making sure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome drink and made to feel right at home.

We were blown away by the amazing panoramic view from the spa, overlooking a tranquil lake, cascading waterfall, and breathtaking peaks. The hotel facilities were exceptional, the Finnish sauna being a standout feature. The rooms were well appointed and clean with high pressure showers. We were also impressed with the location, which was conveniently located after camping in the mountains for a few nights. The staff were helpful, and the breakfast was sufficient, with delicious coffee available from the bar.

Surrounded by beautiful mountains, this hotel is a perfect retreat for hikers. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with great bathrooms and some offer fantastic views. The staff are friendly and willing to help, and the food is good. The hotel provides shuttle service for guests who don't want to walk up the slope to the park. Guests can also enjoy the jacuzzi and other facilities offered by the hotel.

The food prices are higher compared to restaurants outside the hotel.

We had an amazing time at this hidden gem of a hotel in the mountains. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The location was perfect, nestled in a valley surrounded by tall rocky mountains. We loved the stunning views of the lake and waterfall right next to the hotel. And because of the hotel's altitude, we were able to easily hike to the High Tatras peaks and enjoy breathtaking views from over 2000 meters high. The quality of the accommodation and the level of comfort were top-notch, and the price was very competitive. We can't wait to go back to Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom for another retreat.

I recently stayed at Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom for a weekend getaway. The hotel staff were incredibly professional, the food was delicious, and the surrounding mountain scenery was breathtaking. We were even picked up by the staff in their car and driven up the mountain to the hotel, adding to the unique experience. The buffet-style dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and although our room was on the smaller side, it was clean and modern. a wonderful stay that I would highly recommend.

The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by the majestic mountains. We embarked on a hike to Slovakia's highest summit and appreciated the comfort and amenities of Sliezsky Dom that helped us prepare for our adventure. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. We loved spending time with our children by the fire, reminiscing about our day and enjoying the peaceful mountain setting. The group activities offered were also a great way for us to have fun and relax together. We also had a chance to visit Téryho chata and Zbojnícka chata, two Tatra chalets that were within a reasonable distance. it was an unforgettable experience for our family.

For dads, it would be great if there were more family-friendly amenities for children.

The rooms are smaller than expected and the lighting could be improved. The halogen lights in the bathroom were excessive and not environmentally friendly.

I had an unforgettable stay at a mountain hotel with stunning views. The hotel's Land Rover picked me up from the parking place and brought me up the hill to the beautiful Sliezsky Dom. The warm welcome, cozy decoration, and festive Christmas music created a wonderful atmosphere. Surrounded by the majestic High Tatras mountains and overlooking lake Velicke pleso, the location of the hotel was truly special. The staff was excellent, and Maros, our waiter, made our dining experience even better. The menu offered a variety of delicious soups, main dishes, and desserts, accompanied by a selection of Slovak and international wines.
